April 15 - December 30, 2012

This exhibition of contemporary art commemorating the sinking of the Titanic opened on April 15, 2012, exactly one hundred years after the most famous maritime disaster in history. Artists Matthew J. Benchimol, Diane Matyas, Ann Marie McDonnell, Rudolph Montanez, Denise Mumm, Nelleke Nix, Malissa Priebe, and Mary Rouncefield offer viewers unique and intimate perspectives on one of the most famous events in maritime history, which has since permeated all aspects of our culture. Over 1,500 people died that day, and this exhibition seeks to reconnect its viewers with the emotions felt by those effected by this tragedy in 1912.
