Noble Maritime Collection presents a new exhibition, Modern Ruins, Paintings by Anna Held Audette

STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK, June 16, 2016—The Noble Maritime Collection will present Modern Ruins, Paintings by Anna Held Audette (1939-2013), a new exhibition that will open with a free public reception on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 2 until 4 PM and continue through December 11, 2016.

 A distinguished teacher and artist, Audette’s paintings of industrial ruins and obsolete machinery chronicle the decline of industry in the United States.

 The exhibition will include a selection of her large paintings, some of which were done in ship’s boneyards on the Staten Island shoreline.
